Director – Bradley Creswick

Bruch – Violin Concerto No.1 in G minor, Op. 26 (Bradley Creswick – Violin)
Beethoven – Symphony No.3 “Eroica”

An evening of some of the greatest romantic repertoire ever written.
Wagner’s love scene between Siegfried and Brunhilde began life as a birthday present to his wife. Following the birth of his son, Siegfried in 1869, Cosima Wagner awoke to the beautiful strains of music floating up the stairs - truly an idyllic gift.
Bradley Creswick makes a popular return with a concerto which he is utterly passionate about – Bruch’s 1st Violin Concerto. You can be sure of a fresh interpretation and thrilling performance from this most original of violinists!
To end, we have chosen one of our favourite Beethoven symphonies – No.3 “Eroica.” The work is a milestone in the history of classical music and truly one of Beethoven’s greatest masterpieces.
