We will mingle indulgent classics such as Brandenburg 5 and our favourite bits from the Messiah with some down-right crazy French Baroque music - The Elements.
Mezzo Clare Wilkinson is one of the most exciting young Baroque singers in the UK and has already carved a fascinating career with the top names in early music, such as John Elliot Gardiner, i Fagiolini and the English Baroque Soloists.
Clare and Sarah Whewell, the Sinfonietta's principal flautist, will join the ensemble directed from the harpsichord by Terence Charlston. Terry is one of the world's leading harpsichord players and he returns to his Lancashire roots with this fabulous best of Baroque mix.
