Secondaries/Young Adults:
Adults & Families
Since its inception, the Lancashire Sinfonietta has found
a valued part
to play in the musical life of the County and fulfils a unique educational
role as a community orchestra. Projects are devised by expert educational practitioners and delivered by the Sinfonietta's own musicians in schools, children's centres, adult education colleges and community venues across the County.
We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded £100,000 from Grants for the Arts by Arts Council England for The Sound Playground. During the 2-year project, musicians will work with pre-school children, families and childcare practitioners in Burnley to establish long term music programmes in children's centres and create high quality music resources. More details soon!
